Ḥadīth 180: Abū Hurayrah said ‘ Once We Were Sitting With The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ And A Man Came To Him And Said ‘ O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ I Am Destroyed. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said ‘What Has Destroyed You or He ﷺ said ‘What Is The Matter With You’. The Man said ‘I have Laid Down With My Wife While Fasting’ . And In Another Narration ‘I Took From My Family While In Ramaḍān (Meaning Intercourse). Allāh Messenger ﷺ said ‘Are You Able To Free A Salve ? The Man sad ‘No’. The Messenger ﷺ said ‘Are You Able To Fast Two Consecutive Months? The Man sad ‘No’. The Messenger ﷺ said ‘Are You Able To Feed 60 Poor People? The Man sad ‘No’. Then The Prophet ﷺ Became Quiet And Sat For A While. And In The Meantime Someone Came To The Prophet ﷺ with A Basket Full of Dates In Order For Him To Distribute It As Charity. The Messenger ﷺ said ‘Where Is That Man That Asked That Question? The Man Stepped Forward And said ‘Here I am’. The Messenger ﷺ said ‘ Take The Dates And Give It In Charity’ The Man said ‘Shall I Give Them To Someone That Is More Poorer Than Me O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ? By Allāh, There Is Not By It’s Two Neighbourhoods Anyone That Is Poorer Than My Home. The Messenger ﷺ Laughed Till His Molar Teeth Became Visible & Then He ﷺ said ‘Feed It To Your Family’

Chapter: Fasting While Traveling
Ḥadīth 181: On The Authority of ʿĀʾaisha Who said ‘ Hamzah ibn ‘Amr Al Aslamī, said To The Messenger ﷺ, 'Shall I Fast While Travelling? And He Was One Whom Fasted A Lot. So The Messenger ﷺ replied to Him Saying ‘If You Wish Fast and If You Wish Break Your Fast’
Ḥadīth 182: Anas bin Mālik said ‘We Would Travel With The Messenger ﷺ And The Fasting Person Would Not Say Anything Against The One That Is Breaking Fast & The One Breaking Fast Would Not Say Anything Against The Fasting One’
Ḥadīth 183: Abū Dardā said ‘We Went Out Travelling With The Messenger ﷺ In The Month of Ramaḍān. And It Was Extremely Hot. And Because of How Hot It Was, We Would Put Our Hands On Our Heads Due To How Hot It Was. And None Amongst Us Were Fasting Expect The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and ‘Abdullāh ibn Rawḥah.
