Lecture Summary

The realization of the call to Tawheed is tantamount to the success of any dawah. The emphasis that is placed on this fundamental affair by the salafis, is severely neglected by those from amongst the groups that have deviated from the the straight path, the likes of the jamaat at tableegh and the ikhwaan ul muslimeen, who have placed the crux of theirdawah upon uniting the masses of the muslims regardless of the horrendous crimes against the rights of Allah, fromshirk and kufr. The Shaykh, 'Arafat Muhammady (May Allah preserve him) highlighted the difference between our call and the call of the other misguided groups and pinpointed the crookedness of their so called "success" which is short-lived and merely an illusion and a facade. The Shaykh touched upon the minute issues of the various groups and their lack of concern for the methodology of the Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallaam) in his call to Tawheed. The deviant groups like the sufis deify their saints and call to them, the tableeghis focus primarily on inviting the people to good manners, and the ikhwaanis call to politics, all this due to a lack of truly understanding the reality of the call toTawheed.

We ask Allah to help us to be upon the Quraan and Sunnah and to call to its pure teachings and save us from the misguidance of the callers to the many deviated ways.
